Empty Chairs and Empty Tables

This one comes from my epic webcomic. The character depicted here is named Elrek. Technically, he's one of the "villains" but I don't really think of him that way, he's one of the most sympathetic characters in the comic. Anyway, I've been scripting his backstory lately (he's had a rough life) and I was listening to Les Mis, and the song "Empty Chairs and Empty Tables" inspired this. This is from his backstory, not from anywhere in the comic itself.

Now, I'd like to throw out a proposition. Any artists out there who think they'd like to and would be able to tackle Elrek's story, send me an E-mail and a sample of your work.
Cons: I may turn you down if I don't think your style is strong enough yet (I ask for help, then turn you down...sheesh!) but I want this to really be strong. The other downer is, you'll need time to do it, I'll be pretty demanding and expect something at least once every two weeks (that can add up)
Pros: I will post all work you do on my comic site, may even give it it's own site (for all the backstories) and will promote your work on all my comic sites. Also, though the story is scripted, I left a lot of the action open for the interpretation of the artist.
I hope someone can do this, I'd really like to see Elrek's story done, and I just don't have the time to do it myself.
