Apologies in advance for the spoilers.

Oh, I've been meaning to do this picture ever since Revelation ended. My first thought at the end of that was "Oh, I want to see Washington on Blue Team, he's going to be SO miserable!" :D
Washington, just a fascinating character - in Reconstruction, I liked him - in Recreation, I was furious at him! - In Revelation, he managed to redeem himself. I just love this guy.

I got Junior into this one, too! I meant to include him in the Blue Team picture - even drew him into it - but he looked so terrible, I cut him out. Managed to fit him in here, though, as well as a few other in-jokes.

I spent a little more time on the armor on this one as well, and I'm pretty pleased with it. Especially the helmet...hoo boy! The helmet I drew before was just a mess! :D Happy to return to some RvB, especially since people seemed to like those first few images. I hope you enjoy! :D

Why does everyone draw Wash with a head stitch? I don't think they actually had to cut his head open to get Epsilon out.

Do you know who Luke McKay is? He drew the Rooster Teeth comics, but prior to that, he drew the first versions of the RvB characters without their helmets. Here's his design for Wash: [link]

I very intentionally used his designs for all my drawings of the RvB characters - even though some of his designs have now been proven wrong ^^; - my guess is that a lot of other fanartists are simply doing the same thing.

I admit to liking the design myself, but that's probably why you see it so much. You can see all of his designs at that site I linked if you're interested.

Yeah, I know him. Well that certainly explains it. If he did it, then it's pretty much canon.

The look on Wash's face is what seals this for me: he's accepted his fate to preserve what sanity he has left. :XD:
He's realized that being around the Blood Gulch boys means that having Caboose make puppet shows for him, or Junior drool on his helmet, is "normal" for these idiots. He's the new "Church" of the group.

And I bet now he wants to take a leaf out of Church's book and use Sheila to "blow the whole goddamn world". ;)
