Rule the World With Love

This...is a bit different for me, isn't it?

Well, here's where it came from. I love music, and I'm constantly trying to find ways to combine music and art. I was listening to this song when the idea struck me.

Essentially the song does what it seems to here. It compares love and war, and how the two are all too similar. It doesn't present love harshly, but it IS a conflict, and not always good (sometimes it's creepy and stalkery) I thought it was an interesting and different way to portray love, so I thought I'd give it a go. In my head, the two people needed to have a dysfunctional relationship, but totally seem to gel at the same time...a la Joker and Harley. So that was the inspiration for these two...don't ask me why they're dressed that way...I really don't know...it just seemed fitting somehow.

The coloring and some of the design elements were inspired by Persona 3 - an incredibly creepy game you all should go play.

To help you better understand the picture, because I know the people cover them up, here's some of the song's lyrics in the order I wrote them (not in the order they're in in the song) I chose the ones that seemed more fitting (the song itself really isn't that edgy, it was just a neat idea I ran with)

Really kinda weird for me, I know, but it was fun to try something different.
