Wow awesome! He's an interesting character to look at, the gun-slinging boetheri. (If I spelled that right..) And who better to draw him than the species' creator herself! And just out of curiosity, what program do you use for drawing and coloring? I was wondering that, and I also started thinking that this might look a little better if there was some kind of texture to the wall. Just something you might like to try!
I use my hands for drawing and I use photoshop for coloring.
Though the background is less a problem with the tools than the one using them. I'm terrible with backgrounds, I can never think of anything to put into them. I actualy sat staring at this picture for two hours trying to think of something to fill that space before giving it up. It's a pretty severe weak point of mine, and especially true if I don't draw in a background ahead of time, like in this picture. Ah well.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! mmmmmmm!! I wants to hug him!!! ahem, wait, I mean...uhm, yeh, its good...but you might have to draw more of him,yep,mm-hmm.... lol
oooo goody! I was all set to twist your arm and everything! hahaha If you're following the story still, I believe this one, "Sisters", closes with Jack's first true appearance! It'd be kind of cool to see your take on the meeting of Jack and Cat! Also, I finally drew another pic of them myself...haven't colored it yet, so not posted...but I am totally leaving those big funky Boetheri feet to you from now on! lol

YAY! I'm glad you liked it! I always worry about drawing other people's characters that I'm going to do something wrong.
He was fun to draw! It wouldn't take much to convince me to draw him again.
